DRAFT "MISSION STATEMENT" (as
it relates to critical environment type facilities):

conditions at the Federal, Pacific NW and local utility provider levels.
- To keep abreast of changing regulations Federal,
Pacific NW and local utility level and associated policies and procedures to gain energy
in the most cost efficient and reliable manner.
- Identify average lead times in the application (via
the local utilities provider) process of requesting energy services in the various
geographical areas and associated response time and up-front mobilization costs associated
with application for service.
- Provide a forum to meet energy needs of critical
environment type of facilities and contribute to the conservation of energy in our local
Pacific NW area.
- Identify various operational schemes such as peak load
shaving using back-up gen-sets.
- Identify possible alternative energy sources (i.e.;
on-site co-gen facility).
- Help to establish average operational (gas &
electricity) costs for similar types of "Critical Environment" facilities in
common geographical areas.
